Humane Society gets six-figure donation

The Lewis and Clark Humane Society has received a generous donation from a Helena couple’s estate.

More than $101,000 from George and Dorothy Huston was given to the shelter over the weekend by their neighbors, who executed their will.

The shelter says the money will help with a lot of projects they have been putting off because of budgetary issues.
