Fourth graders rewarded for reaching lofty reading goal

Fourth grade teacher Heidi Herbolich had a challenge for her class: Read a total of one million words this school year. As an incentive, she told the class that for all students reaching that goal, they’d be treated like millionaires.

Seven Rossiter students – five boys and two girls – found out just what that meant on Tuesday, treated to a 45-minute limo ride around the city.
