Flu cases on the rise in Montana

The number of people who have come down with the flu in Montana continues to rise.

The state Public Health and Human Services Department says they’ve received more than 2,500 reports of influenza in Montana so far this season.  The department says 20 people have died of the flu with most of those people being over the age of 65.

Despite it being the end of January, the department says it’s still not too late to get a flu shot.
