East Helena voters have approval of land buy ahead

East Helena voters have one more choice ahead of them concerning the soon-to-be built high school.

The district has found land at Dartman Field for the school that they believe would cost $207,000 to buy, but they need approval from voters to do so.

Voting “yes” wouldn’t mean any more money is needed after voters previously approved a $29.5 million dollar bond, but state law stipulates the district needs approval to buy it.  The vote could come in late July.
