Bottled water, showers available for those dealing with flooding

The Salvation Army is providing bottled water to Helena-area residents whose water supply has been contaminated due to flooding.

Residents can pick up the water at the Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds sandbagging site, or at the Salvation Army, located at 1905 Henderson. Anyone unable to travel to either site can call the Salvation Army at 442-8244.

A spokesperson for the Salvation Army said no additional donations of bottled water are needed at this time.

Additionally, the Helena Family YMCA, at 1200 N. Last Chance Gulch, has offered to make its showers available to flood-impacted residents.
